Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Sandra Kaplan
Dr. Sandra Kaplan has been delivering quality dental care in the New York area for over 32 years and is an active resident in the Montgomery/Skillman area. Her goal is to provide the finest dental care possible in a comfortable and painless environment. She places a high value on doctor/patient communication and spending quality time with each patient, which in turn reflects on the quality of her dentistry.
After graduating with honors from Brooklyn College, Dr. Kaplan continued her education at the New York University College of Dentistry, receiving her doctorate in dental surgery in 1990. Dr. Kaplan was awarded The American Society of Dentistry for Children Award, The Eugene Rothschield Memorial Award of the Academy of Oral Rehabilitation of New York University – Fixed Prosthodontics, The Department of Comprehensive and Applied Practice Administration and Behavioral Science Bernard E. Rudner Memorial Award, and The Academy of Operative Dentistry Award for Excellence. Dr. Kaplan has completed post graduate education in oral surgery, implants, cosmetic dentistry, dental trauma and emergencies, pain control and anesthesia, and periodontal surgery.
Dr. Kaplan enjoys an active lifestyle along with her husband Jim and twin daughters Sarah & Jessica. She also enjoys gardening, travelling and fosters kittens for several local animal shelters.
Dr. Justin Mullen
Dr. Justin Mullen grew up in North NJ, he went to the College of Charleston and continued on to the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. He was a member of the Gamma Pi Delta Honors Society in Prosthodontics and completed his residency at Hackensack University of Medicine. Dr. Mullen has proudly participated in Dentistry from the Heart, donated his time to underprivileged communities and three years with the Special Olympics. When Dr. Mullen is not practicing he enjoys jiu-jitsu, cross-fit and chess and is a devout fan of the Mets and Jets. His passion for dentistry is being able to put fearful patients at ease and giving them their confidence to smile again.
Dr. Celina Zhang
Dr Celina Zhang was born and raised in China, She moved to the US to attend NYU College of Dentistry and completed her residency at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Zhang currently resides in central NJ and when she isn’t practicing likes to hike, travel and try new restaurants. Her goals include making a difference in someone’s life, making her patients smile and helping them overcome any dental anxieties they have.
Dr. Do Yoon Kim
Dr. Do Yoon Kim attended McGill University in Montreal, Canada where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. He then completed advanced coursework in Electrical Engineering. From there, Dr. Kim decided to pursue dentistry at the New York University College of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He then completed his General Dentistry Residency at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and began his career as a General Dentist. Dr. Kim developed a particular interest in Oral Surgery and attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx where he received his Doctorate of Medicine. From there, he completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel/Jacobi Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Do Yoon Kim resides in Manhattan and enjoys taking walks and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Amanda Hochstein
Dr. Amanda Hochstein earned her D.D.S. degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. She completed her specialty training in Periodontics at New York University College of Dentistry, where she was able to train under some of the most prestigious members of her field. She earned her board certification in Periodontics, and has lectured at local and national dental conferences on a wide variety of periodontal topics. She has extensive experience in all aspects of periodontal treatment, from implants to bone regeneration, to gum grafting and laser therapy. She is also a member of the board of the Northeastern Society of Periodontists. Dr. Hochstein brings to our practice the latest and most effective periodontal and implant treatments available, and strives to provide treatment that is comfortable and predictable. She is a very caring and compassionate practitioner, who prides herself on the relationships she builds with her patients.
Dr. Hochstein resides in New Jersey with her husband Greg. When she is not taking care of patients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, and traveling. What she loves most about working at Dental Care Princeton is the opportunity to work alongside her father and continuing in the family tradition of exceptional patient care. Additionally, the office provides a warm and caring environment in which she can provide outstanding care for each patient she treats.”
